This was the first kinked bowl I made and it came about through design with purpose and from listening to the material and going with the flow of tension. This single kinked treasure is only 1of4 currently made and will be limited at 10 this size. They found homes in Switzerland, Santa Cruzne, Paris and one can be found on the coffee table (as shown in last photo) of Michael Kors New York Home.

These bowls have been on a long journey, they started life back in 2015 when I was commissioned to make a salad bowl. I'd never planned the kinks at first until it happened in such a way I was compelled to explore its potential. There's still so much I'd like to try out with these bowls and buckets of tension and energy. Some have little feet some do not yet the ones without feet are free to move.

They are dishwasher safe, if you need to clean them as wiping them can leave little scratch marks, and perfect for a house by the sea. I reckon, if sterilised you could even have a go baking a cake in one. There is a chance it would change color so have that in mind. Made to last a lifetime.

Textured and manipulated into shape out of 3 mm thick stainless steel using a very large power hammer, 30ton press a hand hammer and the textured tooling of power hammer palets dating back at least 100 years and all the energy captured within the highs and lows.
