For nearly 15yrs I have lived by a river and every so often I have taken the plunge into the cold dark waters. The ripples and force of the water draw me in as I find my breath within its cold grip. Forcing in a moment to stop and move as the water does, never holding onto each moment by itself and allowing the flow of energy to pass through me and release.

Watching irregular patterns in nature is naturally soothing to the nervous system so to watch water fold and shift under a reactive nothing is naturally soothing to the mind, body and soul. For a while I have wanted to try to capture this motion. I am working on a wall hanging in copper to work more with these shapes. combining them with the loose movement of the hanging system im working with would be wonderful to behold.
