3mm mild steel wire frame with forged patinated copper panels braised on. 24ct gold leaf inside an indentation on the lower panel. Linked together with bronze wire.

Measuring 270mm tall by 200mm wide.

This was a two part meditation piece. The top half came about after the winter's solstice and the bottom half after that month's full moon and a week or so later. The two parts were never intended to be one piece. They found each other, you could say. One of the most beautiful parts of this piece for me is that when you fold it in on its selp the bums link up perfectly. The lower panel has yarrow plants forged into it instead of the trees that surrounded the moon that night. Yarrow came in from the orical card I pulled that night. Calling me to nurture the masculine energy within.
